After a weekend in Salou, Spain with a committed body and soul to my family, I needed them and they needed me, it was an unforgettable adventure for all of us, a weekend of great laughter and challenges. We continue our journey to our beloved Torrevieja to enjoy the days and catch the moments.
I started working from my little balcony in Torrevieja, where I work a few hours every day to continue delivering my services to my customers. Here I combine my distance work and enjoy the holiday together with my family, it is not always easy to find the right balance, I try to do my best to make my family and I feel good so that we can continue to enjoy the sun, the Mediterranean and evenings with wonderful dinners.
When you are an entrepreneur you are also your own manager and you can make your own decisions in your work and schedule the work based on your relationship, but you cannot leave the job to get a 100% holiday due to the business you are running.
I am self-employed because I love to do it but I am also mom and I have to find the balance. Behind all this is a wonderful man who supports me in my decision to be self-employed, a man who has patience, who helps me when I am exhausted by obstacles and difficult times, which accept me as I am, a passionate businesswoman who is always full of ideas.
When we change temporary offices to the Mediterranean, I usually work very early in the morning until the family wakes up, then we eat breakfast together and have a lovely family day for the rest of the day. It is not uncommon for me sometimes to stay home when I have a lot of work to do, when the children go to the beach together with their dad, my husband. It is also not unusual for me to have to perform emergency tasks when we are out on the beach or sitting at a restaurant.
Sometimes the thoughts show up, should you give up and leave everything for a simpler life? But what is a simpler life? Will it be easier to have traditionally 40 hours of work? A job that you cannot control yourself based on your needs? To have someone who controls and determines your duties, working hours, etc.?
Being a business woman is not always a simple life, it is a choice, a lifestyle, something you feel within you despite the difficulties and setbacks, it is the driving force of an entrepreneurial spirit, it is perseverance, that is me, my identity.
